KCWC Day 2
By Melissa LeRay
KCWC Day 2 was a quick and easy one. These little sundresses come together in about 30 minutes. I had made this one for Elise while I was pregnant, and she’s now starting to outgrow it. I thought these two prints would do her well for the Spring and Summer, and give her a little room to grow. The top print is by Kaffe Fassett, and this one is an Alexander Henry print.
Hopefully tomorrow the lighting will be good enough for me to get some good shots of Elise actually wearing these dresses. I’m going to create a tutorial for making these in the next week or two. I exaggerate not at all when I saw this is a 30min dress. The best part is that this can become a tank/halter top when its too short to be a skirt, and then if they’re a skinny beanpole kiddo then it can be hemmed (if needed) to become a skirt. Doesn’t get much better than that!
